MAGNUT HERE once again

THank you for your continued support with raising funds for our troop needs.
90% of all funds raised with candy, magazines and cookies are used for
the girls badges and patches. the remaining is used for incidentals and parties.
If we do really well - we're able to pay for the girls participation fee's for most
Albuquerque events and local Gallup events. thanks again families!

a few important points to remember with this Fall Fundraiser:
4 WAYS OUR TROOP EARNS MONEY
1. paper magazine orders payment due from customer at time of order and is to be turned over to troop for deposit. ensure you receive a receipt from troop MagNut Chair, Rhonda.
2. Online Magazine orders - friends and family may pay with debit/cc. sending emails to famil and friends. 12 emails will earn $1.00 for troop, special patch for girl and 2 eraser toppers.
3. nut/chocolate orders - payment due at time of order. money to be given to troop magnut chair, Rhonda on or before Oct 8th. ensure Rhonda gives you a receipt. we earn 15% of each girls total order.
4. reachout booklets - completed booklets only (very strict on this process - all fields must be filled in or they are trashed). troop receives $1.00 credit for each complete booklet.

payable to Girl Scouts or GSNMT
no checks over $100.00
checks need to have NAME - ADDRESS - HOME PH #
no temporary checks, numbered less than 200, or third party checks
deposit all checks 7 to 10 dys of receipt

sales Period is 9/27 thru 10/8. Deadline is 6:30pm on the 8th.
please bring all forms and money to OUR REGULAR MEETING LOCATION
for deposit.

Product will arrive to Gallup on or near Nov 10th.

COLLECT ALL MONEY AT TIME OF ORDER, regardless of what parent manual instructs you to do.

Cropwalk this Sunday (Oct 21) , meet at Community Pantry, wear uniform if you have.
Donation of a food item to fight hunger in our community is exceptional Girl Scout behaviour!

Oct 19th troop meeting is at St. Francis Elem.We will be teaching from the Girl Guide and making a Banner for the Cropwalk.

Oct 26 troop meeting we will prepare for the Boo Bike Ride on Oct 27th

Oct 27th Boo Bike Ride, 10am, meet at El Rancho (east parking area)

Nov 2nd Gallup Area recruitment event - First Baptist Church - 6pm to 8pm.
Explora! from ABQ will be our special guest. Come with a friend and have them register as a girl scout will earn you a fun patch. Raffle for girlscouts who register a non-girlscout! Yahoo!

Nov 17th Red Rock Care Center visit- 9:45 am - movie at Red Rock Theatre after. Each troop to bring 20+ greeting cards to distribute. Movie: TBD closer to event date. Cost: $6 to $8 depends on movie, $5.50 snack cost, $2.50 for two fun patches. Approx cost $14 to $16 to participate.


Dec 14th Holiday Caroling in Red Rock Elem neighborhood, meet 5:30pm. Dress in layers & bring a flashlight. Caroling will last for 30 minutes. Potluck/Party afterwards from 6pm to 8pm. Each troop brings a side dish to share with other troops. LOCATION TBD !
